1. Start with Clean Skin:
   Wash your face or the area you want to treat, and then apply a facial oil or moisturizer. The oil helps the gua sha tool glide smoothly over your skin.
2. Hold the Gua Sha Tool at a 30-45 Degree Angle:
   Place the tool flat against your skin with the edge almost lying against it. This allows you to scrape gently rather than digging in.
3. Begin with the Neck:
   Using upward strokes, start at the base of your neck and move toward your jawline. This helps open up the lymphatic pathways.
4. Move to the Jawline and Chin:
   Use the tool to sweep from the center of your chin along the jawline to your ear. This can help relieve tension and sculpt the jawline.
5. Cheeks:
   Start from the sides of your nose and sweep the gua sha stone outward toward your ears. Use light to medium pressure, ensuring your skin isn't tugged too hard.
6. Under Eyes:
   Be extra gentle here. Use the smaller curves of the tool to move from the inner corners of your eyes to the outer edge. This helps reduce puffiness and can be soothing for tired eyes.
7. Forehead:
   Move the tool from the center of your forehead outward, toward your temples. You can also scrape from the eyebrows upward toward your hairline for a lifting effect.
8. Repeat:
   Repeat each stroke about 3-5 times, always in an upward and outward motion to promote lymphatic drainage. Be mindful not to scrape too hard—you want a gentle massage, not redness or irritation.
9. Clean the Stone:
   After each use, clean your gua sha stone with warm water and mild soap, then dry it thoroughly.
